We get it. Leaving your dog behind can be stressful. But there are ways to make sure your dog has the best staycation ever (and to give you a guilt-free trip).

Between classes, excursions, treats, activities, and more, Fitdog has got your dog’s dream vacation covered. Read on to find out how Fitdog takes boarding to a new level.

Morning Playdate

At the Fitdog Club, guests are given breakfast and then meet out on the big or small dog yard for their morning playtime. Here, they will mingle with friends, chase some tails, catch up on all the gossip, and of course, get out their energy.

Go on an Adventure

Our sports excursions are offered Monday thru Friday and take dogs to Huntington Dog Beach or the dog-friendly trails of the Santa Monica mountains. Excursions are especially suited for dogs who have lots of energy, love to explore, and who want a change of scenery. In addition to sports excursions, Fitdog also offer a range of sports and training classes.

Not staying at the Fitdog Club? No problem. You can book sports classes anywhere in LA – even if your dog is staying at another boarding facility.

Sign up on our web-based app and get started today.

Meal Breaks

Every dog eats meals in their own private area which also allows them to get some much needed R&R.  For boarding guests, a lunch break is required so they can catch up on their zzzz’s. Dogs often take this opportunity to snack, lounge, and decompress from the excitement of daycare.

Didn’t have time to pack lunch for pups? Our mini bar is stocked with goodies to keep dogs energized through the day. Choose from a variety of snack options, including peanut butter stuffed Kongs, Etta Says chews and more.

Complementary Walks

All borders receive a complimentary walk every day while boarding. It helps dogs adjust to the routine and get a change of scenery.

Club Happenings

To mix things up for our daycare members, our staff organizes daily activities. Mentally-engaging tasks such as puzzle playtime or ball pit are offered every day at 1pm. Our dogs particularly love the ball pit, pictured above, where they are challenged to sniff out treats hidden under the balls. Ask the front desk what’s happening today at the Club.

Peaceful Snoozes

Boarders get their own space (unless you book siblings in the same room, like cuddle buddies Max and Walter seen here) to eat, sleep, and chill out. We have three different boarding spaces available depending on the size of your dog. Your dog’s room will be made cozy with whatever bedding and toys you provide, or we’ll provide your dog with a PLAY Chill Pad. Boarders are monitored by our overnight staff, so dogs are never left alone at the facility.

Staying Pretty

Make sure your dog is fresh and clean at pick-up. We recommend scheduling a groom on the day of pick-up so you can get right back to cuddling with your pup.  If your dog has long hair, we recommend a brush-out every 4 to 5 days depending on the dog’s coat.  Click here to learn more about our grooming services.

Love & Cuddles

At Fitdog, we care about the welfare and happiness of both dogs and their owners.  While your dog is with us, you’ll get daily reports, and we do our best to send photos and videos of your dog having fun. In addition, cuddles are free. Staff is encouraged to spend solo time with all of the dogs. We don’t believe love should cost extra.

Don’t worry if it looks like they’re having too much fun– they’ll still be just as excited when you come to pick them up. To book your boarding stay, call (310) 828-3647, or to learn more, check out our services. Where is your dog staying this holiday? Tell us in the comments.
