In this group obedience class, dogs learn to “turn off” their energy and focus on basic obedience. Your dog will practice obedience amongst distractions and also socialize in a safe and constructive environment.

Focus Areas

Dogs work in groups to learn how to control their impulses and master obedience cues for automatic behavior and responses. Each class rotates through the core cues and also focuses on your dog’s improvement areas.

Trainers use a layered approach to ensure dogs are engaged and building on their success. As your dog progresses, the trainer will increase the level of distractions with the goal of reaching an auto response to any cue, in any environment.

Benefits

Did you know it takes the average person 10,000 hours to become an expert at something? Even if your dog has already attended a training program, logging in more practice hours improves behavior and ensures longer term results.

Foundations & Focus will give your dog much needed brain workouts and productive socialization. Plus dogs benefit significantly from having a mix of training classes in addition to their normal play schedule. And you’ll benefit too – with a tired, better behaved dog!
