Rocky Kanaka takes two dogs on their best day ever in his series Dog’s Day Out. In this video, two dogs from California rescue group Marley’s Mutts were taken on a shopping spree and treated to ‘puppaccinos,’ and of course, given lots of love, affection, and play. This video series is one of our current obsessions, and we love how it helps raise awareness about rescue dogs.

In the video, dogs Freddie Mercury and Basco are taken on a shopping spree through Petsmart, where Rocky has agreed to buy them anything they touch. Freddie Mercury gets her very own bed and Basco, a surrendered senior dog, goes to town picking toys and treats.

We admire Rocky’s mission to look at dogs not for their hardships, but for their honest, fighting, and pure spirits. And of course, we can’t resist seeing such joy brought to dogs. We dare you not to smile hugely when you see these dogs exude glee over their new digs!

How would you give your dog their best day ever? Perhaps with a playdate, Beach Excursion, or Scent Works Class? The possibilities are endless. Tell us what you would do for your dog’s best day ever in the comments!

You can watch the series Dog’s Day Out on Facebook.
