Are you a busy pet parent with a bored dog at home? Or do you want your dog to have a more enriching life?

Fitdog’s Group Classes keep dogs active and engaged during the day while owners are at work. Dogs are picked up and dropped off from home, work, or daycare by experienced dog professionals and brought to vetted class locations. Classes are booked online at app.fitdog.com.  At the end of the day, you’ll receive snapshots of your dog having a blast.

See a full list of our classes below!

Beach Excursions

Beach days are filled with fun off-leash adventure! Dogs splash in the water, play fetch and dig in the sand. Two Sports Leaders head out every weekday morning to  Huntington Dog Beach. Because it’s an off-leash activity, dogs must have good recall to participate. Beach Excursions are fun year-round and make for one tired pup at the end of the day.

Pool Safety & Fun

Our training partner, Rhonda, leads our Pool Safety. In this class, dogs learn swimming techniques, how to enter and exit the pool and gain confidence around water. After a few sessions, even the timidest pups are ready to jump in. If your dog already loves swimming, Pool Safety is a summertime favorite to keep cool while playing water games like fetch.

Canyon Hikes

During our Adventure Hikes, Sports Leaders take dogs out to explore the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains. Our hikes take dogs on a moderate to advanced 4 to 6-mile hike depending on weather conditions and the pack dynamics.  Canyon Hikes are offered in the mornings Monday through Friday. Low Impact Hikes are offered Friday afternoons for those dogs that aren’t quite ready for a full hiking experience.

Pack Adventure

Our pack heads out every Saturday morning for a Pack Adventure where they play, run, and explore with friends in a local dog park. So while you do your Saturday morning errands, your dog can get all their energy out.

Fun & Fit Agility

Dogs navigate obstacle courses and use mental energy to learn new skills in our Fun & Fit Agility class. This recreational class combines all the fun of Westminster without the super-competitive edge or hassle of signing up for 6-week courses. Class is hosted by our training partner, Rhonda on Wednesday afternoons.

Reliable Recall

Ever wish you could let your dog off-leash without worrying whether or not they’ll come back to you? At Reliable Recall, dogs improve recall skills by playing fun and mentally challenging games. By learning new skills and being positively rewarded, dogs not only get better at recall but also get a confidence boost as well.

Leash Manners

Some dogs don’t know how to behave in a pack, and that’s okay! Leash Manners reinforces foundational obedience and teaches pack socialization. Dogs receive consistent, positive feedback from the trainer and learn to follow instructions in a pack setting. This is a must for dogs needing to improve pack behavior.
